Bitcoin is said to be a lot of things, some true and some just wishful thinking.
I will leave for you to decide which ones you agree or don't agree with currently...
That being said, it's hard to argue that bitcoin works better as a savings vehicle than the dollar.

Bitcoin has inflation as well, at least for the next 100 years or so, but the rate of inflation is slowing.
The dollar has 2% inflation pretty consistently with periods of much higher inflation like we are currently coming out of.
For that reason alone, as long as adoption of bitcoin stays constant or increases, the price of bitcoin, and thus the utility of using bitcoin as a savings vehicle increases.
