Last night I decided to treat myself to something I hadn't done for a long time. A neighbor made cakes to sell and as soon as I saw the pictures I did not hesitate to buy her three slices. This is my favorite cake and it reminds me of my grandmother and my childhood with her. I remember when I would go with her to the bank, she would always buy me a piece of this cake and a bottle of orange juice. Yesterday I didn't have orange juice to go with the cake, but I still felt like a happy child again.

Bienvenidos a mi blog.

Anoche decidí darme un capricho que hacía tiempo que no hacía. Una vecina hizo pasteles para vender y en cuanto vi las fotos no dudé en comprarle tres trozos. Este es mi pastel favorito y me recuerda a mi abuela y a mi infancia con ella. Recuerdo que cuando iba con ella al banco, siempre me compraba un trozo de esta tarta y una botella de zumo de naranja. Ayer no tenía zumo de naranja para acompañar el pastel, pero aun así me sentí como una niña feliz de nuevo.
