Hi Friends,
We have had a run of bad luck at the local grocery stores when buying fruit. You would think that summer is the right time to harvest citrus fruits, and other fruits like peaches, but that has not been our experience.
The fruit has been looking good on the outside, but the inside is rotted out or just doesn’t look right. Here, I was about to enjoy an orange we just bought from the grocery store, but it looked like this:
It was dead on the inside with no juice. So odd. Guess we should keep shopping around, or simply grab stuff of the neighbor’s tree when they aren’t looking! Hehe!
Where do you go for the best fresh fruit?

That's really strange! Have you tried speaking with the produce manager at your grocery store? It wouldn't hurt to even email corporate and ask them to forward the info to their produce buyer to ensure they keep track of where the bad fruit is coming from.
