Hello dear friends,
I hope you all are doing well and spending a beautiful life with your loved ones. I wish you all happiness and peace.
Love doesn't always have to be shown through grand gestures. Sometimes, a small gift can carry all the warmth of the heart and the bond of the soul. Just like the little story that happened recently with my younger sister, Mukta.
Mukta is currently in class five. She is the youngest and most cherished member of our family. Though she’s a bit demanding at times, her innocent smile brightens up our hearts. A few days ago, she called me and in her sweet little voice said, “Bhaiya, when you come from Dhaka, can you bring me a new school bag?”
It wasn’t a big request—just a bag. But in her soft plea, I could feel something deeper. To her, it wasn’t just a bag. It was a tiny dream wrapped in hope.
I decided to surprise her with a beautiful bag during Eid. So one day during a break, I went shopping and searched through many stores. Finally, I found the perfect one—a light purple bag with a cute cartoon cat face on the front, and the name "Sophie" written beside it. It was not only pretty but also soft and comfortable—perfect for a little girl.
When I gave her the bag during Eid, the joy on her face was beyond words. She hugged the bag, danced with it, and showed it off to everyone. In that moment, I realized—something as simple as a small bag can bring immense happiness and create a cherished memory for someone.
Mukta now takes the bag to school every day. Even at home, she carries it around proudly. Sometimes, she even keeps it next to her while sleeping. This bag has become more than just a school accessory; it’s a reflection of the love we share as siblings. One day, she told me that her classmates think her bag is the prettiest in the whole class.
In today’s fast-paced, technology-driven world, we often lose the simple joys of life—expressing love, sharing little moments of happiness, or doing something just to bring a smile to a loved one’s face. But these small acts are what make life truly beautiful.
Giving that bag to Mukta brought me a deep sense of peace and fulfillment. I realized that when someone is genuinely happy because of your small effort, that becomes a big achievement in life.
So, if we ever get the chance, we should do something special for our loved ones—something that makes them smile. Because no matter how busy we are, there’s nothing more precious than the smile of someone we love.
Thanks all
