Hello stemians it's a beautiful day I am grateful to @fannyescobar for bringing in the contest let's see how it goes
Nature Also Inspires
There are some days when life feels like it’s moving too fast the noise, the deadlines, the people expecting you to be everything, everywhere, all at once. It can feel overwhelming. But in those moments, I always find a gentle reset in nature. It doesn’t matter how heavy my heart feels or how tired my mind is stepping outside, breathing in fresh air, hearing a bird’s song it reminds me there’s more to life than the rush.
Nature speaks in a language my soul understands. There’s no need for fancy grammar or big vocabularies. Just the simple way the sun rises every morning, painting the sky with gold and pink, is enough to lift my spirit. No matter how bad yesterday was, the sun shows up again. It’s like nature’s way of saying, “You can try again too.”
I have always admired trees. Some of them have stood tall for hundreds of years, growing through storms, droughts, human destruction, and still they hold on, rooted in place. That kind of strength inspires me. The deeper their roots go, the higher they can reach for sunlight. It makes me think about my own life about the values and principles I hold dear, the roots I build for myself. The stronger they are, the better I can stand tall in the face of life’s storms.
Then there are birds. They fascinate me so much. You see them gliding across the sky, moving freely, not worrying about where the next gust of wind will take them. They trust the sky. They trust the moment. Watching them reminds me to loosen my grip sometimes — to let go of the fears that hold me back and trust that life has its own rhythm, just like the wind under a bird’s wings.
Flowers, too, are tiny heroes. Some bloom in the harshest conditions from cracked sidewalks to dry, rocky soil. Their courage stirs something in me. They refuse to stay hidden, showing off their beauty to the world even if the world isn’t the most welcoming. That’s a message right there: bloom anyway. No matter the odds, shine your colour.
Every time I step out for a walk, I’m reminded of these lessons. The rustling leaves, the scent of wet earth after rain, the hum of insects in the evening they all blend together like nature’s own lullaby. And whenever I feel stuck, nature’s song tells me that change is normal. Seasons come and go. Trees shed their leaves only to grow new ones. Nothing stays the same forever. That gives me hope, because it means my own seasons will change too.
Sometimes we think inspiration has to be loud motivational quotes, big speeches, massive dreams. But the older I get, the more I see how inspiration can be gentle. Nature inspires me quietly, without any bragging. It simply shows me how to breathe, how to pause, how to notice the gifts of being alive.
The sea, oh, the sea is another teacher. Standing there, watching endless waves rise and fall, I feel my worries shrinking. The ocean is powerful, but it’s never in a hurry. It moves with the pull of the moon, following a rhythm as old as time. That tells me that even the biggest burdens can shift if you just keep moving, a little at a time.
And you know, nature also teaches me to let go of control. The weather changes on its own terms. The sky goes from sunny to stormy without asking for permission. And yet, there is balance in all those shifts. It reminds me to go with the flow, to understand that I can’t control every outcome, but I can adapt and still find my place.
Another beautiful lesson is how connected everything is. The bees rely on the flowers, the flowers need the bees. Rain depends on the clouds, the clouds dance around the sun. It’s a perfect teamwork, a reminder that none of us truly survives alone. Just like nature, we need each other. We need a community to grow, to heal, to keep going.
Whenever my thoughts feel too loud, nature gives me a place to quiet them. Even if it’s just standing barefoot on fresh grass or sitting under a tree with a light breeze on my face, it works like magic. Nature is patient. It waits for us to come back and remember who we are beyond all the noise of the world.
The best part? You don’t need any ticket or money to connect with nature. You just have to open your eyes. Look around. Feel the sun on your skin, hear the birds calling, watch the butterflies chase each other. In those simple moments, you’ll hear a voice that says, “You can still grow. You can still dream. You can still start again.”
So whenever you feel weighed down by the chaos of life, step outside. Let the rain wash away your heavy thoughts. Let the wind remind you of freedom. Let the trees show you how to stand strong and yet still bend when you must. Nature will inspire you in ways no book or motivational video ever could, because its wisdom is living, breathing, and honest.
As for me, I will keep listening to the whispers of nature. I will keep finding strength in sunrises, courage in flowers, patience in rivers, and freedom in birds. Because in the end, nature also inspires and it never, ever runs out of new ways to remind us of our place in this beautiful, complicated world.
