Today, I’m really excited to share with you a special drawing I’ve been working on. This piece features a beautiful woman with long, flowing hair. I chose this artwork as my entry for this week’s art contest themed "Prove Yourself as the Best Artist of the Week." This contest was organized by (@dequeen)

This drawing took me quite some time, but I honestly enjoyed every part of the process. One thing I focused on a lot was the hair detailing. I wanted to bring it to life, so I spent extra time adding layers, texture, and flow, making sure each strand tells its own story. Long hair can be challenging to draw, especially when you want it to look soft yet full of motion, but I’m happy with how it turned out.

Also, when it came to the face, I paid close attention to adding color gradients and subtle shading to capture depth and emotion. I worked on the highlights and shadows, making sure the skin tone looks rich and realistic with smooth blends and tonal contrasts. I wanted the expression on her face to feel both calm and strong like she’s silently telling her own story.

This drawing is a mix of emotion, technique, and passion, and honestly, it pushed me to be more patient and detailed than usual. It feels good seeing how much I’ve improved in handling textures, color tones, and facial features.
