I was sitting in the market in the corner next to the kebab shop and quietly eating my meatballs, washing them down with a beer. In front of me was a colorful swarm of people, hurrying in a chaotic rhythm, like wasps. You couldn't catch everyone's trail unless you looked at their direction, their gait, their shopping bags, or their clothing. Some had gone shopping, others were out for a walk, and still others were chatting with their peers. Thus, in blissful contemplation that helped with digestion, I spent my lunch quietly and peacefully. The seats in the kebab shop were occupied by pensioners reading newspapers or arguing. I had taken my plastic plate outside, away from the noise, to the flower shop - another stall to be exact. I chewed quickly, lost in these thoughts. It wasn't just homo sapiens that was showing signs of activity. Hundreds of wasps were buzzing around the flower shop, getting their dessert. At the moment, I was not interested in them, and for that reason I did not notice them at all, nor did they notice me. I did not ask myself, since they are not honey-bearing, why they are so assertive and sharp, nor where they live. A wasp probably had not had enough for dessert, and had stumbled upon my meatball. Of course, this fact escaped me. Who is looking at your meatball, my gaze was focused straight ahead. The picture probably looked like this: she is legally eating the meatball, and I am doing the same. Our visions and value systems are structured radically differently, so that we can see each other and understand each other. If it were a dog, at least you would understand it and throw it the piece, in the name of survival, vegetarianism, remorse for the sins of civilization or simply diet - whatever. When the piece falls to the ground, go and pick it up later. Here at least the rules and values are clear, and your own territory and behavior are legally justified. When the meatball is in my hand, it is mine, when it is on the ground, it is common and is conquered and guarded with teeth :)
