Diary Game|| 16-04-2025|| A Day With Mixed Feeling

Dear diary,

When I woke up I had my devotion, I showered with cold water which to me is more convenient than warmed water because the weather is too hot. We've only experience rain once this year which was just brief. After I showered I brushed my teeth and then dressed up and left for office.

Reaching the Church I first and foremost entered my office to clean up and afterwards I joined Covenant Hour of Prayer (CHOP). We had a brief meeting after CHOP with the Associate Pastor. The briefing was immediately followed by Staff Devotion which lasted for about 1 hour 15 minutes.
Immediately after the Staff Devotion, I checked my phone and I noticed a missed call from one of our member, when I call back I received a sorrowful news that we lost one of our Church member who had been sick but already discharged from hospital. This member and his wife are very committed members of the Church, I had to pay a condolence visit to the wife and family members as you can see in the picture below when we sat down somewhere outside the compound with other visitors and relations. Though I was unable to see the wife, I met with some of their family members.

Returning back to Church from the condolence visit I went up to my office and continued with my daily office routines. I later went to my Pension Fund Administrator Head office to make some corrections on my account, from there I went to UBA to renew my ATM card which expires about 3 months ago. Worthy to note, all that I went out for was absolutely successful.

From there I returned back to the office and finished my preparation towards evening Mid-week Communion Service, I typed the program scheduled, the announcement and prayer points, after which I printed all via the use of generator because for about a week or two now we have been on blackout.

By evening after making ready all the available needed documents for the program, I scheduled all the Ministers available with ministerial functions in accordance with the program schedule.
The program started with opening prayer, praise and worship, intercessory prayer sessions, announcement, testimonies the Word among others, then finally we broke the fast with the communion as usual.

After the Mid-week Communion program I returned back home, on my way back home I bought fuel from the fuel station encountered a heavy traffic as expected; because usually the evening hours is always characterized by heavy traffic because it is an express road and the other length is under construction.

Reaching home I first and foremost took a shower, then I ate white rice and stew for dinner which was cooked and served by my lovely and beautiful wife as you can see below.

The rest of my day was spent with my wife and kid before we all retired to bed.
