Steem Natural: Growing my own food (Pepper from my farm)

It is has always been very beneficial to grow one's own food right from time. Apart from the monetary benefits, it also offers more health benefits as we eat those foods free from chemicals both for preservative and the ones used for planting. Then coupled with the joy of eating what you grew by yourself.

Steemit has always encouraged growing our own foods because it keeps us busy and gives you that sense of ownership.

Presently, the economic situation of most countries have gone down that the cost of living is now killing the living, it therefore has become even more beneficial to grow one's own food.

I have greatly benefited from growing my own food. Take this year for example, I have water leaf, pumpkin leaf, pepper in my garden, preparing soup is made easy. I just need a few more ingredients from the market to prepare it along with these ones I can easily get from my farm.

Okra is there along with other varieties of veggies. But my recent harvest of my pepper is a marvel. I had never gotten such quantity before. Take a closer look at the video and see the amount of pepper that I harvested from my farm just at a time. If I am to buy it, it will cost more than 6 steem. Imagine when I decide to expand the garden! The pepper you are seeing was gotten from Judy 2 pepper plants. Amazing!

My family and I love adding enough pepper to our foods because of both it's aroma and taste especially this rainy period. In fact there are certain foods you can't eat without adding pepper. It has therefore become a thing of joy to exclude pepper when shopping.

Well, I was away from my home for 3 days last week, coming back, I observed my pepper plants. I saw that they are ripped for harvesting. I observed other things I planted, okra, and other things and they gave me great joy. Then the next day, I harvested most of them and the joy was something else.

Hence, it is very good to plant something in your compound no matter how small a space you have around you. You can use bad to play them. They will readily come to your aid on those days of lack.

I have just added some other veggies and I am watching them closely to monitor their progress. I will share the outcome soon.
