Housefly (Musca domestica) on Leaf Litter

in hive-144064 •  yesterday

The housefly (Musca domestica) is a common insect that belongs to the family Muscidae (order Diptera). It is regarded as a nuisance insect and a hazard to public health and a disease carrier that most of us avoid to have them around. As we all know, the housefly is commonly found in the garbage and decomposing organic waste. So I am not going to talk about its behavior but I prefer to see this housefly from another side. The good thing is, I found this housefly was perching on wildflower instead in the garbage, which makes it look so good on the camera. That's why I don't mind taking a couple of shots even it is generally unattracted by the naked eyes but thru macro, it will be different. So, here are some pics of the housefly that I took around the bush yesterday.
