I found another stunning moth that was perching on the wild plant. It is called wild forget-me-not moth belongs to family Erebidae. It has colorful wings ranging from red, pink, yellow with black marking in various patterns on both its wings. I saw it perching on the wild grass when I was looking for butterflies and wildflowers around the bush. I did not have moth in my until I spotted this one. The habitat consists of open mixed hardwood-conifer forests, oak woodlands and open riparian areas near creeks, as well as in open ponderosa pine forests and mountain meadows. It's a kind of tough job hunting them, patience is quite needed if I wanted to get a proper focus, so after spending some time, I was finally able to catch it. Moths are included in the paraphyletic group of insects that come along with all members of the order Lepidoptera.
