Hi friends,
I am Jyoti from India. Here I am going to participate in the SLC S25 W1 contest: https://steemit.com/steem4nigeria/@ruthjoe/slc-s25-w1-movie-snapshots-or-around-the-world organised by @ruthjoe
Watch a movie from a country other than your own country or not of your country's origin. |

Last January, I took the kids to see an animated film in 3D and thought it was the right time to go and see the sequel to The Lion King, Mufasa. Visually, the film speaks volumes. My son, daughter, my friend, and her children all went to the SKR Miraj Cinema in our town to watch this movie. This was the last foreign film I saw in the theater. Since it was a 3D film, it was a thrill to watch in the theater, and its effects were impressive.
This animated film, which has been released worldwide, has been dubbed and released in many languages. Here we watched and enjoyed this film in Tamil.

The story in the film also moves like the story we have seen in many Indian films. We have heard that the lion is the king of the jungle. The message that whoever becomes king in that lion group is not necessarily the one born in the royal lineage, but the one who saves the people is the leader is top notch.
- Directed by: Barry Jenkins
- Cast: Aaron Pierre, Kelvin Harrison, Seth Rogen
- Tamil Dubbing: Arjun Das, Ashok Selvan
- Music: Dave Metzger, Nicholas Brittle, and Lynn
Talk about the main idea of the movie |

Hollywood doesn't just consider animated films to be just for kids. They're spending billions on the genre to show how realistically they can present familiar comic book stories as visual treats.
This year's Lion King movie, Mufasa, has been a lesson to the people focusing on social justice. The world celebrated the movie Simba, The Lion King in 2019. Mufasa The Lion King, a prequel film that tells the story of Simba's father, Mufasa, was released 3 months ago.

Mufasa, a young lion who is afraid of water, is separated from his parents due to a flood. Mufasa, who is swept away to another place, is saved from crocodiles by another young lion, Takka. Takka takes Mufasa to his parents, King Obese and Queen Eshi. There, the two grow up as siblings. Takka loves Nala and Mufasa, and a fierce rivalry develops there. A pride of white lions attacks their area, and Mufasa drives them away with the help of a herd of elephants. The scenes of the white lion leader seeking revenge for the murder of his heir, what happens in the end, the director has carved out how his half-brother Takka turns into Scar through deceit.
Describe the plot and setting of the movie. |

As Simba becomes The Lion King, Simba and his lioness Nala travel to a place where Nala is about to give birth to their next child, Kiara. The film begins with Rafiki, a monkey, telling the story of Simba's father Mufasa to Kiara. The story of Mufasa, who was born and raised in a normal pride of lions and separated from his parents, is how Mufasa, who takes refuge in another place, becomes king of that place.
If you were the director of the movie, what would you do differently? |

No matter how good the director is, there is always a chance that some mistakes will be made in some places. In this film too, some scenes are shown excessively, so I would avoid them.
For example:
The previous Lion King films provide lots of chills and adventure scenes that will keep the audience engaged till the finish. However, it is a bit disappointing that the dialogue alone is the only thing that moves the film forward in many places, even though there is scope for it in the Mufasa story.
Also, since it's a 3D film, fans come to the theater to enjoy the 3D. The 3D effects were a bit lacking in this one. If I had been a working director, I would have paid attention to that.

I loved how you connected the film theme with real world values like leadership and justice. The way you described Mufasa journey and Takka transformation into Scar was very engaging. I agree that the 3D effects could have been better

Indeed, this lacks animation effects in comparison to other films like Jumanji or Narnia. I appreciate you reading and leaving such a thoughtful comment.
