Writing is very essential in our daily lives, in expressing our emotions and thoughts, and also as a means of storing ideas for innovation and research purposes. Whether handwriting or digital writing, it is necessary to apply in our various situations.

Digital writing is simply referred to as software writing, it's done by the use of digital devices like phones, tablets, computers and other digital devices.
This writing is done by creating text for emails, blogs, text messages, essays and other software notes.

Handwriting refers to writing done on physical surfaces using your hand with writing materials like pen/ biro, pencil, chalk, etc. The writing is done on paper, notebooks, and boards; which are physical surfaces.

Sincerely speaking, I indulge in Digital writing more than Handwriting. This is because of the advancement into the computer age, it is simple to scribble any writing on your digital devices with ease, like emails, chats, notes, documents, etc.
Just like writing and posting here on Steemit, digital writing is convenient and a faster method to carry out this activity.

But talking about intimate writing, deep thoughts writing which feels so personal when writing with your pen, making your thoughts flow directly to the pages, this is seen in Handwriting.

Honestly, Handwriting is a better routine for memory retention, creativity, expression and effective learning.
These reasons are simply because;
Handwriting fosters critical thinking, since you won't need to speed up the writing, this slow writing helps the brain and mind to gather every information we need to make up our writing.
It is easier to express your emotions through handwriting and sincerity can easily be seen in handwriting.
One thing I noticed about handwriting is that, when writing on your note, it's not just written there but also on your mind, which will make it easier to recall at any time.

Although we call it the computer age, but we can't leave out handwriting, it is very essential for our daily lives.
Schools must treat it as important in grooming their students with handwriting skills. It fosters learning and helps students to learn faster.
I see handwriting as the first stage of learning, but both handwriting and digital writing are all essential for students to inculcate to function well I'm any situation, like writing an application letter or writing an email.

In need of speed and effective communication, I will recommend digital writing to that.
