Greeting my dear Steemian friends. Welcome to a new contest I am presenting on the topic of Courtesy. One of our Steemian friends @eveetim has organized this new contest among us and the content of the contest is really quite nice. So I am very happy to participate in this new contest and now I am presenting my post in this new contest on the topic of Courtesy.

What do I mean by courtesy?

By courtesy we mean the elegant, polite and respectful behavior of a person. Courtesy is a way of showing respect and attention to others and through showing courtesy, one presents one's true identity to others. All the good qualities of a person during a meeting can be called courtesy. Which can build good relationships between people and make them loveable to people. Politeness, humility, etiquette, respect and consideration are part of courtesy which presents the good sides of a person in front of others.

Do I think that courtesy is important? Should it be observed?

I definitely think that it is very important for us as humans to be courteous. We humans are social creatures and we live our lives with the help of each other. In any danger, we talk to each other and hope to be free from danger. In this case, one of the easiest ways to build good relations with each other is to exchange courtesy. I have already mentioned that there are several stages of courtesy that reveal the good qualities of a person and all these good qualities are also liked by other people. A person who can exchange courtesy is good for everyone because people are there for him in any need.

I think that courtesy should be observed among people. Because I give great importance to the person who exchanges courtesy. Because through the exchange of courtesy, it is possible to gain a correct idea about people, which includes human behavior, etiquette, respect for others, sense of honor and the knowledge of considering any matter in that honest person. A person who exchanges complete courtesy is a person who is liked by everyone and it is good for us to establish relationships with these people.

What are five examples of politeness demanded in my culture?

There are many examples of courtesy demanded in our culture, of which I will now highlight five.

• Greeting everyone younger or older than your age.
• To benefit others according to one's ability.
• Eat while sitting down for any meal.
• Respecting elders and loving the younger ones.
• Expressing gratitude to a helpful person.

State examples where courtesy was neglected. Did I witness this or did someone else tell me this?

Yes, our country has an example where courtesy was neglected. Our Bangladesh is a Muslim country and every year many students studying in madrasas go to foreign countries to participate in the Holy Quran competition, the best book of Islam. In this way, the students studying in madrasas of our country have made our country's name shine on the world stage many times. Even in the World Quran Competition, our country's students won first place. But the sad thing is that despite our country being a Muslim country, the state has not shown such a good reputation to these students, which is a special example of the neglect of courtesy.

What is my position when it comes to courtesy?

My position on courtesy is always consistent. Because I like courtesy which builds good relations between two people and increases peace in society. I think if every person exchanges courtesy, chaos will be removed from society. I support all kinds of good deeds from personal, social and state aspects, that is why I always support this matter of courtesy.
