Good morning, seeing this photograph of a beautiful garden with brightly colored flowers—yellow, white, pink, and red—blooming in a clay pot at the edge of a stone path reminds me of a passage from Scripture that says:

“And why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they toil not, they spin not. Yet I say to you, that not even Solomon in all his splendor was arrayed like one of these. And if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?”

Matthew 6:28-30

These words remind us that just as God cares for the flowers of the field, He also cares for us. The beauty of these flowers reflects the love, provision, and thoughtfulness with which God beautifies even the simplest things in life, and invites us to trust more fully in His care. Amen

Buen día, viendo esta fotografía que muestra un hermoso jardín con flores de colores vivos —amarillas, blancas, rosadas y rojas— que florecen en una maceta de barro al borde de un sendero de piedra, me hace recordar un pasaje de las sagradas escrituras que dice así

“Y por el vestido, ¿por qué os afanáis? Considerad los lirios del campo, cómo crecen: no trabajan, ni hilan; pero os digo que ni aun Salomón con toda su gloria se vistió así como uno de ellos. Y si la hierba del campo que hoy es, y mañana se echa en el horno, Dios la viste así, ¿no hará mucho más a vosotros, hombres de poca fe?”

Mateo 6:28-30

Estas palabras nos recuerdan que así como Dios cuida de las flores del campo, también cuida de nosotros. La belleza de estas flores refleja el amor, la provisión y el detalle con que Dios embellece incluso las cosas más sencillas de la vida, y nos invita a confiar más plenamente en Su cuidado.
