Hello friends! I am very happy to be part of the SEC-S25W1 Full Body Focus challenge. I am doing first time such a complete body workout. I have never went to a gym before this so this challenge was both exciting and difficult for me. I try my level best to do this and also enjoy this time. Let's start.
This is my first time doing a full body workout. I am saying honestly, I have never joined any gym in my life, so everything was new for me. I was both excited and nervous. I have no any gym equipment at home, I decided to make my own dumbbells. I took two plastic bottles of cold drink and filled sand in it. I closed them tightly lid and used them like dumbbells. It worked well for me.
I started my workout with Jumping jacks. first time , I did not succeed to do this properly. Then I watch video twice and practice again. I felt it was easy, but after few seconds my heart beat became very fast but I did. , I started little sweating. My heart rate increased and my breathing became fast. I felt the movement in my shoulders and legs. It was a good method to warm up and stay active. I love it.
Then I moved to Jogging in Place. It found it funny in the beginning because I was not going anywhere but running. However, I realized this was helping my legs get active. My thighs and calves felt the most pressure during jogging. In short word it was great experience.
Next task was dumbbell squats. This was very challenging. I held the bottles filled with sand and tried to bend like I was sitting on a chair. My thighs started burning after few repetitions. I had to stop, rest and then did it again. In second attempt I failed again but I never give up and continue. It was hard, but I could feel it working on my legs and glutes. I never knew like a simple move could be so powerful.
After that, I did Push-ups. This was the most difficult part for me. I have not much strong arms and chest muscles. I could not do regular push-ups. So, I started follow the beginner version. It was easy than other but difficult for me. I start it with knees on the ground. This work was not easy to me. My arms were shaking during this and I had to take a break. In fourth attempt, I managed to complete the sets slowly. I felt the most pressure on my chest, shoulders and arms. It was really fun.
The next session was Dumbbell bent over rows. This was a new exercise for me. I bent my back a little and pulled the bottles (dumbbells) towards my chest. This movement was easier than push-ups, but I still felt pressure in my arms and upper back. My lower back was also a little tired after completing this set. I like this exercise because it help me to make strength in my back.
Planks were also tough for me. I have to keep my body straight with help of my hands and toes. After 15 seconds, I was feeling pain in my belly and arms. I could feel my abs working hard. I took small breaks and continue again.I completed the required time. Planks really test your willpower but it was exciting.
Finally, I reached to final task. I did Stretching for my body. This was very easy part of the workout. I stretched my arms, legs and back. I felt calm and fresh after doing this. It help me to reduce the tiredness. I found it easiest part of my full body workout.
So in this way, I make 7 videos with seven different session. After that I merged them and make one video. In total, the whole workout took me around more than 5 minutes. I recorded my video and also clicked pictures. One of my pictures shows my sweaty face, because I really did hard work. This contest was not simple for me, but I learned that we do not need go to gym or purchasing expensive tools to live fit. We can use home made instrument and have good result.
