Diary game 29th April 2025 || New beginnings - A blessing or a curse??

The past few days have been rainy and it has reflected in my backyard. Weeds overgrown and looking for an opponent. Today I decided to clear the walkway through which I can access my mother's pen house. Like I said earlier, the weds have almost taken over the entire place, but I've decided to take things slow with them as I've realized that I can't do it all at once.

For me, this signals the beginning of my day.
I'm at the market and despite the heavy rains that fell this morning and is still warming to fall again, people have braved it and are going about their respective businesses in search of daily bread.
My first business for the day is to refill our gas. Next I'm headed into the market proper to scout for the ingredients for breakfast.

At the market

I'm back, have made breakfast. Next on my list is laundry. I have an outdoor meeting later today so already calculating the time it will take me to be done with house chores.
As I stepped out for the day, I noticed that our waterleaf garden just beside the house is sprouting another season of offsprings like I like to call them. We have a customer of planting vegetables of different kinds and a few other crops in our backyard. Why waste Gods given earth when you can feed from it?. So anytime we want to make any vegetables, we simply harvest from our resource.

Finally arrived at my meeting venue albeit a bit late. My goddaughter is always a delight to behold. One child that is the true definition of gen beta😂. She is always camera ready and knows how to strike the best poses, at least for her age.

It's time to work. I'll be here till we are done with work which can be late in the night before I head home, but before I log off, I want to use this picture of my waterleaf to remind you that everyday is green and dripping with so much potential.
