Hi, all fellow Steemians,
Good morning from Canberra,
The last as an SR as the SR program comes to an end. I tried my best and brought together some of the best Steemians in the business, to the fore through my Newbie Promotion program that will continue as I said before SR or no SR. The role of SR was nothing much to me but it sure motivated me to help newbies and I enjoyed it to the fullest in multiple ways.
My role of SR is officially over but does that mean I will stop doing my role or would I lose my existence?
The answer is no! I will keep on working even harder, and take more responsibilities. I have always added valuable content, helped other Steemians even if they took me lying down. I am keen to uplift newcomers as they are the future of Steemit.
I have always supported developers, and my witness log is proof of that, my every post is on X or any other social media although I have never boasted about that.
I said there was not much to do as an SR, but for me, keeping more than 140 as beneficiaries and talking to them through different channels was something I enjoyed and the joy of motivating them immense. That will continue for me as I felt I was doing my duty of giving back what I received from Steemit and my seniors. As I said, I will keep doing that, one way or the other.
I am feeling that from now on I have more time at my disposal, and if our team gets the chance in the newcomer's community, it will be another task at our hands. Overall, I must say another week passed normally.
Now I come to the Learning Challenge-25, I admit this season was better than previous ones as everyone had something to participate in, even I did 3 posts this week which is maximum for me so far since it started. I saw a couple of opportunities for me this time, so I posted in a couple of them.
Offline I was a little busier, but most of my activities were online as I avoided going out due to low temperatures and too windy conditions. Once again I spent a lot of my time browsing and shopping online, including for groceries.
Curation duty
I feel it's worth mentioning as one of the member of Curation Team-3, I tried my best to support the best posts using all my previous experience no matter what country, community, or rank they belong to.
My power-ups and reward summary
I added 270 more STEEM to my wallet this week, bringing my total past 54K SP+, and enough balance for the next one that I intend to add soon. Let me once again say that I am going to add all my SP to my wallet as long as I am on this site.
I did a couple of posts in different communities.
For instance, I enjoyed doing this one:
SLC-S25/W2-Movie Snapshots|Book to Screen 'Half Girlfriend'
Newbie Promotional Program: It will go on Maybe in a different way
A New Initiative to help newbies
As promised, I have started working for the newbies, although there is no contest for them so far, but I did a post for them, and I am glad it received attention. But to be frank, I found just one newbie this week worth supporting.
However, I am happy to find some of the newbies that I have been supporting for more than the last year, and some of them are doing well, and to top it all off, a few of them have established themselves as good content creators.
I always voted for the best posts according to their quality and supported them in my capacity as a Steem representative. Again, my online or offline activities did not stop me from visiting and finding promising authors from the newcomers' community and selecting my quota of two of the best, under 50 rank, irrespective of their club status, communities, and countries.
As I have mentioned earlier, I am planning to replace this program with creating a new community especially for newbies as they need it. I am seriously planning and in touch with few likeminded community admins and hope to reach to a conclusion soon.
I am planning to bring talented newbies into "Travel Writing Contests" with a difference that will encourage them to share about their region and country.
This week I supported one more newbie, keeping her as beneficiary in one of my posts. As I always mention, I will keep supporting newbies, but my "Newbie Support Program" will be different a few weeks from now since I am busy with offline and online projects right now.
My selected user
As a routine, I selected "newbie," @emmabritt from Malaysia beneficiary for this week so far.
I selected her for this post which is not an ordinary post but a complete blog in itself.
As usual, I am writing a message on the selected posts, and some of them understand the meaning of my message, so they feel happy and respond positively because they feel someone cares for them.
I posted a comment on her post and as she is an experienced blogger from Malaysia so she responded back immediately.
Once again, I am trying my best to support genuine queries by Steemians, both new and old, through various channels to support them in spreading awareness and pacifying them in case anyone has a problem.
I am proud to announce that I did my best as an SR, to support all good posts and keep doing so.
As usual, my CSI is always in the range of 10+, which shows I am supporting all who need my support and this will remain the same even if I will have no delegation from the official account. This week I visited as many posts as I could, even though I was busy writing reports, and curation kept me busy on other assignments and, of course, my offline project.
Now that I am part of the Curation Team Newcomers, let me assure you that I will keep doing my job without any partiality, always thinking beyond any specific country or community, and supporting everyone on the platform on an equal basis. Last but not least, thanks to all the Steemians for all they do to support me and the Steemit platform in general.
Thanks, all for the last time as an SR; have a nice time ahead.
Thanks Steemit Team for having faith in me,
Yours sincerely,
Australian Capital Territory
