Day 2 of evening lesson with Ubong-Abasi// 25th June, 2025.

I've posted on this my blog on how my neighbour contracted me to be teaching his son on evening lesson. Today, June 25th, was the second day of my evening lessons with Ubong-Abasi, my neighbor Mr. Christopher's son. After returning from school at 2 pm, I took some time to rest and recharge.

My alarm woke me up at 4 pm, and I quickly got ready for Ubong-Abasi's arrival. We had agreed to start our lessons at 4:30 pm, and right on cue, Mr. Christopher brought his son to my place.

I was pleased to see that Ubong-Abasi was beginning to show improvement in his basic studies, which was a crucial part of my lesson plan. Today's focus was on health talk, specifically water and its sources. I took my time to explain the concepts in detail, ensuring that Ubong-Abasi grasped the information.

By the end of the lesson, I was delighted to see that Ubong-Abasi could confidently answer my questions and even define water and explain its sources. He went further to teach my little son, Princewill on what he learnt from today's lesson. His progress is a testament to his eagerness to learn, and I am proud to be a part of his educational journey.

As Ubong-Abasi left, I turned my attention to preparing a special meal for my son - his favourite pap. I enjoyed the meal with my son, Princewill, and we spent some quality time together before ending the day with a refreshing bath and a well-deserved rest.
