Assalamu Alaikum to all of my steemian friends.How are you? Hope you all good are. Today I will share my experience of visiting Chittagong Zoo, a popular entertainment center in Chittagong city.Thank you @solayman for organizing such contest.

Introduction

Chittagong Zoo is located next to Faiz Lake in Khulshi.
This Chittagong Zoo combines modernity with a natural and scenic environment. Among the various tourist attractions of Chittagong, this Chittagong Zoo has a special appeal. Starting from children to adults, everyone can enjoy this entertainment center equally. In this zoo, one can get acquainted with various animals and birds at the same time and enjoy the beauty of nature.I took my children to introduce them to and show them different animals. Besides, the zoo is a place where everyone loves to visit.

Entry Fee

You have to pay a ticket of 70 taka per person to enter this zoo. The entry fee is free for children under three years of age. After paying the ticket, there is a map of the entire zoo along the main gate and detailed information about those who have contributed to the establishment of the zoo. I like this map at the entrance of the zoo. This map will help you to visit the entire zoo.

Main attraction of zoo

The first animal I saw after entering the zoo was a turtle. It was walking slowly. My family and I all liked it very much. After the turtle, we went to the tiger cage. For me, the main attraction of the zoo was the tiger. Because the tiger is the national animal of our country. Every person is interested in seeing every thing that is a national symbol.

There was no opportunity to see the lions as there were too many barriers in front of the lion cage. For some reason, the zoo authorities had put extra security and restrictions in front of the lion cage.

There are about 70 species of animals in Chittagong Zoo including tigers, lions, monkeys, crocodiles, turtles, rhinoceroses, deer (Maya deer, Chitra deer), owls, hyenas, snakes (pygmies), jackals, hippos. Although I think some of the animals are in a slightly weak physical condition.

There are 35 species of birds in Chittagong Zoo out of about 70 species of animals. These include peacocks, dhanesh, parrots, ostriches, emu birds, and forest roosters.

Play Zone

There is a play zone for children to play on the northwest side of the Chittagong Zoo. There is a special arrangement for adults to sit here. There are sleepers, swings, and some other rides where children can play.

On the left side of the main gate of the zoo, there is a special place for prayers and a hospital for animals. You can offer prayers here during prayer times.

There is a public toilet and a coffee shop inside the zoo. There are separate facilities for women and men.

Dustbin

Signboards are placed at different places to prevent visitors from disturbing the animals and feeding them anything. In front of each animal cage, there are signboards related to various information about that animal. As children see different animals in the zoo, they will be able to gain various detailed knowledge about those animals.

There are stairs to climb the mountain inside the zoo. Children like to climb these beautiful stairs, adults equally enjoy climbing them. You can climb the stairs and observe the beauty of the mountain and the zoo. Another major entertainment center in Chittagong is Faiz Lake. Faiz Lake is located next to the Chittagong Zoo. You can see Faiz Lake by going up the hill.
