The theme of the engagement challenge is about the Kriya Kendra. Today, I will share with you about an important Kriya Kendra in our Gazipur through the engagement challenge. So let's get started.

Brief History
When was the gym, dojo or stadium established?

Shaheed Barkat Stadium Gazipur is a district-level stadium in Bangladesh. This stadium is located in Joydevpur, Gazipur district, along the road to Sadar Hospital. This stadium was built in 1995. This stadium mainly hosts football, cricket and selected activities of players.

This stadium is affiliated to the Bangladesh National Kriya Parishad. This stadium is currently under the supervision of the District Kriya Parliament.This stadium is very beautiful to look at and environmentally friendly. It is located along the Joydevpur Main Road. This stadium was initially constructed at a cost of two crore taka (1995-1996), and in 2014, another three crore taka was allocated for filling and renovating the soil of this stadium.

Exterior and entrance

A building has been built next to the stadium, which is along the road. A beautiful door has been made inside this building so that everyone can enter this stadium. This stadium looks very beautiful and very big. The stadium field has green grass and is clean. There are seating areas for spectators who love sports in the stadium. The seating areas are in the open areas on the playground. The building looks very beautiful and clean.

Are there any signboards, directions, or parking areas?

There is a parking facility inside or next to Shaheed Barkat Stadium. In addition, there is a large and attractive signboard on the building on the side of the road, which reads Shaheed Barkat Stadium Gazipur. In addition, this stadium has a direction to the north from which directions to various types of games and celebrations can be found. Because in this stadium, various games such as football, cricket and other sports competitions, events and days such as parades, concerts are held. In addition, this stadium is used for landing important helicopters.

If you want to use the stadium for any event or function, you must contact the stadium authorities or ask for permission.

Is there a field, jogging track, open workout area, or outdoor seating?

It is a large open green grass field. Almost all the activities are held here at the district level. However, some of the mentioned days are celebrated here. There are rain areas inside this stadium on all sides of the field. This can be said to be a playground. Here the players practice. Also, the players do some jogging tracks and workouts on this field. Here the player managers find specific areas of the field for their favorite games and workouts.

Cleanliness and maintenance?

There is cleanliness and tidiness. Because the players practice and play here regularly and often. This stadium is currently undergoing renovation work. The general contractor for this renovation work has been appointed as SIAM Corporation. The maintenance of this stadium is generally under the District Action Organization.

Lighting, Air Circulation, Temperature Control.

Yes, the stadium has a natural ventilation system, and there are AC fans etc. for the spectators in excessive heat.

However, it is not public whether this stadium has lighting and temperature control systems. Only if you can contact the stadium manager, you can know about this. I do not have much contact with them, so I am unsure about this. However, I hope this important stadium has a temperature control system. Because this stadium is a very important stadium for Gazipur district.

This stadium has enough space for seating, which makes the spectators very comfortable.

Service/Product Experience
Which service or class have you tried (e.g. gym workout, yoga session, boxing class)?

No I have never tried any service or class. I am a housewife so I have never joined any gym workout yoga session, boxing class etc. at the stadium. However I have visited the stadium. Since I have not been involved in any sport here, I do not know about the use of trainers and staff. However, I hope that the trainers and staff of this important place will be good. However, I can say without hesitation that the environment for playing in this stadium is inspiring and supportive.

Are there locker rooms, toilets, water stations, changing areas etc.?

Yes, of course there are locker rooms and changing areas for players in this stadium. The changing areas are separate for boys and girls. There are clean toilets for players and spectators. There is a separate toilet for girls and a separate toilet for boys. I visited there but there were some girls there so I could not take pictures for their safety. Because they had prohibited taking pictures of the place at that time.

Programs and services provided
Fitness programs, martial arts classes, personal training, tournaments, or community sessions?

The day I visited this stadium, some players were training to play cricket there. I sat there and watched them practice playing cricket. Of course, it chooses the place to hold tournaments and days of various sports.
