Greetings,
Cold!!! Even hearing this word, I feel winter in my bones!!! ❄️ It is not necessarily about weather conditions, cold may be related to feelings, mood, or even a life moment!!!!
When we mention cold, what comes to our mind is the winter mornings. I recall that I used to rise early and the blanket did not wish to abandon me!!! 😅 The hassle of cleaning the teeth with cold water -ah, that is the memory of every child!!! Hot tea is like heaven at such times!!!!
But the cold is not only out of doors--it is sometimes in doors as well. There are times when human beings are cold-hearted. You meet somebody, you speak with him/her, and it seems that he/she does not care. That was the worst sort of cold!!! And it can not be shielded by warm clothes!!!! Nothing but kindness and love can thaw out such cold!!!!
A well-known line by Robert Frost is the following one taken by his poem Fire and Ice:
"I believe I know enough of hate
To say that by destruction ice
Is also great
And would be enough."
It teaches that coldness, such as hatred or negligence can ruin relationships or even a society!!!!
Nevertheless cold is not everything bad!!!! The sweet side of cold is cold nights under a blanket, hot soup, a bonfire with your friends. I recall how we were sitting last winter with cousins, heating the tea over the fire, and singing. This is because those moments are warm despite the cold weather!!!
There are periods in our life when we experience “cold phases. Nothing is exciting, everything is slow, and our hearts are heavy. But, winter like these phases come to an end as well. Winter never fails to be followed by spring. Patience is the way that life teaches us!!!
Even in sports, we hear, “He’s cold today,” meaning someone is not performing well. But that’s temporary!!! Everyone has cold days and bright days!!! That’s life!!!
So, whether it’s cold weather, cold tea, or a cold attitude—don’t worry!!! Wrap yourself in warm clothes, warm memories, and warm-hearted people!!! And remember—after cold, warmth always comes. That’s the beauty of life!!! ☕🔥❄️
