It's no longer necessary to wait for government job, the rate of unemployment in my country is becoming alarming student graduate every now and then but no single job, being self employed is the order of the day. I was actually looking up for the day I will own my business but it as been a little bit tough for me because of financial constraint on my side ,so I decided to develop a financial saving model that will aid me in starting up my business after acquiring the necessary training and constructing my business premise.

A day before yesterday that's on Wednesday I had chatted with my supplier on WhatsApp about delivery my goods the previous day and send the account number and the amount I need to transfer to her and I did that in the evening and she acknowledged the transfer.

Very early in morning of yesterday I woke up around 6:30 am and did my morning devotion before stepping outside to prepare my farm to receive my snails which I have ordered, the order was actually coming from a far distance, another State which is going to take about 4-5 hours before it will arrive,so that early morning I went to prepare a place where I'm going to keep my snails both the adults and babies are to be kept separately,so I prepare two separate pen by putting loamy soil and mulching materials to make the environment conducive for them

After preparing the soil and getting the pen ready to receive my snails I went and shower and dressed properly anticipating for the drivers call.

In the afternoon I trek to go wait for the driver where it will easy for me to get my snails since he couldn't pick up his call, I only spoke with him when my supplier took my goods to the park,so I went close by where I could receive my package immediately, lucky around 4pm I tried to reach him and he picked up telling me where I could see my package and rush down immediately hoping to see him and make transfer for the waybill but he already left it with store keeper who refuses to collect transfer and I had to withdraw for her since she was a little girl

After she was done confirming the money I took my package back home.
Yeah, the work actually started before putting them inside the place I prepared I needed to energized them because of the transit stress they have been through since morning, I soaked them for a little while inside water containing calcium and remove them immediately before putting them in their proper pen. I put feed and water and allow them to eat.
Snails are nocturnal meaning they are mostly active at night,so I let them in their pen and left.

After that I went to rest. In the evening around 8:30pm I went to check on them since they are new and trying to get clamatize with the environment so they already started eating and I was amazed seeing my snail eating.

That was how my day went, hope you found it educative, feel free to ask questions about rearing of snails, the act of rearing snails is called snailery or heliciculture.
