Hello Steemit friends! 👋🏾

Before I proceed, I would like to thank @suboohi, especially for organizing this amazing contest and the community. Is an honor to be part of the participants.

Since it's the week #93 I decided to create a creative story: title ' The 93rd Letter' hope you'd find it interesting.

When Elias arrived at the decrepit boarding house on Crescent Hill, what he anticipated was creaky floors and leaky faucets — not a mystery.

Elias room was kind of tiny, no more than a bed, a window, an ancient writing desk. The first night he opened the drawers and found a packet of yellowed envelopes tied with a red ribbon. Each was described as number-stamped (in fading ink, numbered from one to 92) and signed with a single initial: A.

Curiosity took over. He opened the first letter.
"To the one who finds these, I hope you read them in order."

Over the next few days, Elias became obsessed with the case. Every night he read one letter. They revealed a ghostly saga of a girl named Annora who had once inhabitated that very room. A controlling guardian kept her confined to the walls of the house. But in the letters, she documented dreams of escape, stories of the birds outside her window and whispered fears of a presence that watched her at night.

Letter 92 ended abruptly:
"If I don’t write again, it means I tried to run. It means I failed... or worse."

Elias searched frantically for a 93rd letter. The bundle ended at 92.

That night, he couldn’t sleep. Around 2 a.m., a cold breeze stirred the curtains, though the window was shut. Then, the desk drawer creaked open by itself.

It contained another, unmarked envelope sealed in wax.

His hands shook as he unfolded it.

I have been waiting for someone to write the end of my story. The 93rd letter is yours. Write it, and set me free."

A shadow crept toward him from the corner of the room.

Elias picked up a pen and started to write.
