Hello friends how are you all doing today I hope all is well and you all are having a nice and wonderful day, today I will be taking part in a contest organize by @muhammad-ahmad which is titled "Is AI a Threat or a Tool"

What’s your opinion on the rise of AI?

AI a threat or a tool? This is one of the most famous questions that people have been asking lately as the rise of AI have been so rampant and intense even to the extent that most lives seems to be incomplete without it.

---

I remember back then in the age of analog computers knowledge was limited to what was being taught in schools and lessons but now AI has taken up the space by storm and everyone today seems not to be able to live without.

---

AI came from zero to a 100% invasion and you can see an example in our mobile phones and cars though some people still believe that AI is the enemy here while some also believe that AI is an alie and a tool for effective establishment and growth.

What are the pros and cons?

---

For something as good as AI, and as long as it is in the hands of we human there will always be a merit and demerit and some of them are;

Pro's of AI

• AI helps in effective execution of work
• It helps speed up productivity
• AI helps increase general efficiency in both work setting and solving problems
• AI also helps in personalizing learning as a student can easily make research with them
• The rise of AI has offered so many employment opportunities for the masses

Amongst that and so many more are some of the merit of the invasion of AI in our today's world and now let us look at the demerits of it as well.

Cons of AI

---

• As creative as AI can be it lacks emotions and common sense
• Because of it's potential as a result of complex programming it causes loss of jobs in some sectors
• AI lacks self control as it can easily expose a child to adult view and content on the web
• Too much reliance on AI as cause man to loose their touch and the basic human sense of rational and creative thinking 🤔

All that and so much more are some of the demerits of AI to man as it potentials are commendable but it doesn't overshadowed the risk of it's invasion.

Do you use AI in your life? Elaborate.

---

Yes! I make use of AI on a daily basis and infact with AI my life as been much more easier and simple, for example through AI I have been able to take on a part-time job here in the Steemit platform and it has really helped me a lot with some emergency income instead of me going out trying to borrow people or asked for help.

---

Through AI we have a more faster and reliable means of transportation and also a more simple way of communication which can be done through phone calls, chatting, video calls etc.
