This week, we will explore the world of gastronomy, creating Russian salad and learning more about its history and preparation. Step 1:
For the Russian salad recipe, I washed the potatoes and carrots thoroughly in clean water and peeled them. After peeling, I cut the potatoes and carrots into small cubes.

Step 2 :
In a pot on the stove, I now add water and salt. Then I will cook the chopped carrots until they become slightly soft. Since the carrots need to be kept firm for use in salads, I will keep an eye on the carrots while cooking so that they do not get overcooked. I'll drain the water while it's still chilly.

Step 3:
I will cook the potato slices in the same water in the same way. It takes less time for the potatoes to become soft compared to the carrots. I'll allow the potato slices to cool after draining the water from them.

Step 4:
I'm going to boil the eggs in water in a kettle on the stove. After cooking the eggs for 10 minutes, I'll put them in cold water to chill them. I peeled the eggs and cut them into small pieces.

The types of ingredients that are usually added to Russian salads in our country, Bangladesh, are as follows:

Special tips for making Russian salad:
Steam the ingredients used in the salad; do not over-boil. Steaming keeps the taste and nutritional value good. The vegetables are a little hard to maintain the texture of the salad. It must be kept.
