Today I saw that the parking lot of the dialysis clinic got flooded considering that it is not raining that much and far in between if it did. But the parking lot went flooded due to high tide and it is unusual because I had been a dialysis patient over there for about a decade and a half and it is my first time witnessing it to be that worse than before.

The town where I the dialysis clinic was located is beside a coastal town and both towns are the lowest part of our province including my home town. But in our town, only the river gets affected by high tide which means only those that live beside the river gets flooded and there are few Barrios that gets that problem.

It seems that climate change is unstoppable because of this changes in the earth's temperature and I am witnessing it first hand and I guess only those people or places will attest to the damages made by rising waters of the sea where a simple high tide can already devastate lot of people and their properties if nations would not unite to make a change.

Anyway, I had a chance to take a photo of the hibiscus flower which is a decorates the parking area of our dialysis clinic. It was planted there maybe when the dialysis clinic was built and the place is somewhat relaxing because there was a rest house at the back where sometimes my father would sit around and talk to other relatives if the dialysis patients who would go there as well to wait for their patients to finish.

Well at least I had made some good enough photography of this flower we locally call as "Gumamela". When we were just kids with my friends, we would take some flowers and leaves and crush them and add some soap with water to be used for making bubbles. But what I like about this flower especially the bigger ones with red color, is that it has a sweet nectar. So if you can find a big bush of this plant, you can pull them by the petals and suck on its base.

One good use of Hibiscus plant is that it can be eaten, it has protein from the flowers and I guess the leaves as well which also can be eaten. It is like Okra because it makes a snot substance and if you like Okra, you will like Hibiscus I guess especially if you know that it is edible and nutritious. A certain lizard eats hibiscus flowers and it is a testament that this plant really is a gem in our backyards.

Nice macros you took.

I will not respind to the climate change remark. It all started with a computer calculation that the temp on earth might rise with 1°C in the far future.

The Bokeh setting on my camera phone is high. Next time I will set it to just normal so that some part of the subject will not be that blurred although I guess most of the time it happens. The camera focuses in specific spot of the subject.

Anyway, based on where we live, we will love or hate the weather. Just a bad news for those living in the low lying areas like our town.

Now you memtion this you can take a photo of the same in 3 or 4 different ways to show what the camera can.

I believe it's possible to switch automatically off.
