| В августе 2023 года мы с друзьями побывали в небольшой поездке в Псковскую область. Ночевали мы в городе Великие Луки. А утром отправились на экскурсию по этому городу с древней историей. От Великолукской крепости остались только земляные валы. Затем мы вышли к реке Ловать. | In August 2023, my friends and I went on a short trip to the Pskov region. We spent the night in the city of Velikiye Luki. And in the morning we went on an excursion around this city with an ancient history. Only earthen ramparts remained from the Velikiye Luki fortress. Then we went to the Lovat River. |

| День был тихий, безветренный, течение в реке не очень быстрое. Поэтому вода, как зеркало, отражала небо и берега. | The day was calm, windless, the current in the river was not very fast. Therefore, the water, like a mirror, reflected the sky and the banks. |
| К сожалению, город был практически разрушен во время Великой отечественной войны. Поэтому здесь очень мало сохранившейся старинной архитектуры. | Unfortunately, the city was almost destroyed during the Great Patriotic War. Therefore, there is very little preserved ancient architecture here. |
| На другом берегу видна Вознесенская церковь, колокольня которой закрыта лесами, идёт реставрация. | On the other bank, you can see the Ascension Church, the bell tower of which is covered with scaffolding, restoration is underway. |
| Голубое здание, если я не путаю, - администрация города. | The blue building, if I am not mistaken, is the city administration. |
| Автомобильный мост через реку Ловать. | Automobile bridge over the Lovat River. |
| В год нашего посещения город отмечал свой юбилей – 850 лет. | In the year of our visit, the city celebrated its anniversary - 850 years. |
