The Diary Game: Calm Beginning, Eventful Ending(28-06-2025)

Hello my steemit friends, trust you're doing great? It's another episode of my diary and I'm glad to share it with y'all. Some days are naturally hot and hectic while some comes with its calm and serenity. Yesterday was one of such days you experience absolute calmness and I so wished I could stay on bed all day, the environment and atmosphere was cold and calm. I wrapped myself with wrapper and wished for a prince charming to come serve me breakfast on bed but nah, haven't seen a romantic guy in this part of the world yet.

Since wishes ain't horses, your girl had to step out of bed to fix herself breakfast. But before the breakfast, I made sure to clean and tidy my room and do the necessary chores that morning before making breakfast. I had the meal already prepared so I only had to warm it and make eba before consumption, I didn't eat much because I'm not really a big fan of heavy food for breakfast. My roommate made sure to finish the food and left no crumbs, I had my bath afterwards and went back to bed. While on bed, I received a call and I got dressed and went out.

In the afternoon , I rushed down to meet my friend who had told me that he wasn't feeling fine and was admitted at the hospital, only to meet him at the street that leads to the hospital. "It was a prank to get you out of the house " this was the response I got when I asked why he pulled such prank on me. We walked down the streets and he showed me around, he took me to the work site of one of the indigenous road construction company in my state and gave me history of how the owner stood out in my state and also showed me the man's work.

We went to his sister's house, and we were given a warm reception. They began to gist while I sat and fiddled my phone, they paused at some point when they noticed I was on the floor arranging the books under the table. I was asked who sent me on the errand but little did they know I saw a book that caught my attention there and when I got close, I found out there were lots of books there I could read to gain a broad knowledge on how to become a goal driven and career oriented lady. I've always loved to read books I find resourceful and won't even pretend because it's my first time at her place, I picked the ones I wanted and begged her to lend me the books to read and she agreed.

In the early hours of the evening, we walked back to our home and we didn't go back empty-handed, we were given a crate of eggs and other goodies to take home. While on our way, I stopped by a grocery store to make some purchase. I made some egg sauce when I got home and used them on bread, my friend has always loved this meal of mine and they way he rushed it gave a good impression that he loved it. We ate and I went back to my own home after eating.

I went directly to my the laundry's shop to get my clothes which I'd use for church the next day, I didn't want to head home first so as not to miss out on meeting them as it was late and almost their closing hour. Luckily there was light when I got there and the man was still working on my clothes, I was offered a seat and I sat comfortably and waited for my dress. It was neatly packed and handed over to me when he was done with it and I paid and took them home. On getting home, I put them in my box and locked it up.

I had my bath that night and had dinner too before I settled down outside to make a detailed post about the previous day and went to bed shortly after.
