Hello steemfam, it feels good sharing another episode of my activity with you all.
Unlike last week, it didn't rain yesterday being my cds day so i didn't have any reason to stay back. I prepared early enough to meet up which I did then snacked before leaving home.
I located my members even though i couldn't see my friend which I learnt was ill. I had to force her to make it( I guess I never knew how intense the sickness was) and she agreed to coming.
We had our discussion amongst us and every other cds group did same, you won't believe who was appointed as the new secretary 🤔 your girl of cause 😋. Though not a position I dreamt of assuming in but what has to be done has to be done.
After all was said and orientation was given to the new batch of corps members, we swung into action. Being in environmental cds group i must say requires big energy because there is much to be done.
For the highlight of the day's gathering, we swept the stadium and cleaned the chairs, we ensured everything was being disposed well and the stadium was in proper condition for it users.
By this time my friend had gotten to the venue looking all worn out, she couldn't participate in any activity as even to sit was a problem to her.
I rushed her to my place so she could at least use the bed. The fever became so intensed that she couldn't stop crying, I opted taking her to the health center but she insisted she wasn't going but when it got out of hand I had to tell the guys to bundle her there for me.
The crying and lamenting did not stop anytime soon, i became so scared and wish i didn't force her to come out for the day's activity, if only i could turn back the hands of time.
Few test were conducted before injection was being administered to her. Trust me it worked like magic. In no time she started regaining herself, drugs were prescribed and I took her back home to get some rest before returning to her place.
My day was already gone with me doing nothing for myself but I'm glad my friend was okay before returning to her place. I had dinner freshened up and called it a day.
