Today I'm going to participate in the SLC contest organized by Dear. @ruthjoe on the title Hidden Gems.In this contest I have to share 5 underrated and lesser known movies ever made.Basically I would tell you top 5 underrated movie which are very meaningful,like in this movies which I'm going to mention are very meaningful and should be popular.So without wasting any time, let's get into it.
This movie is about a dad named Roy which run for his young child Alton who had special powers and to keep him safe from unknown people,his dad was always with him.Alton is not an ordinary child but have some special powers.The unknown always try to kidnapped Alton because of his powers fir their interests in negative works.So that's why his father Roy just want to keep his son safe, even if that means running endlessly and risking everything.The main theme of movie is this.
Their are alot of reasons that why I like this movie alot but here I will mention some.The first one is that it's not just about powers and sci-fi dramas or movies but it is all about to parenting and trust etc.When you have something special or you want to do something big then negative people always try to finish you as they feel alot of jelousy.
So of we talk that why is this movie not popular then it is because many people didn't understand this movie in right way so this movie got skipped and ignored.Also the poor marketing made this movie less visible in market.
Theeb is one of the most emotional movie I have ever seen, basically in this movie their is a boy named Theeb, who lives in the desert with his tribe.One day a British Soldier came to his tribe and asks for help from Theeb for crossing the desert.The Theeb was a young boy but however he agreed to help him.After some time,.in mid of the desert, Theeb realizes that something is going wrong.Suddemly Theeb lost the soldier and other people of tribe and was now in dangerous.Because he is just a boy and now he have to survive in this desert by his cleverness.
I like this movie because it gives me courage when I see this movie because he is very young and is now alone is this desert.Thats why sometimes in life certain circumstances can come and we have to do courage and fight with it.
This movie is underrated because this movie didn't do big promotions, however the movie was best and if promotions etc was done then I belief then this movie would be very very popular.
- This movie is holely solely based on true story, as in this story their is a boy named William Kamkwamba who is 13 years old young boy who lives in small village of Africe.His parents are farmers and are very poor and can't afford his child educational expenses.But however boy had a great interest in reading books so he always borrowed from library.One day all of their crops were dying because of drough and they were going out of food.Then the young boy start making a windmill from scrips and old parts and also he took help from the books he read in the library, then after some time he successfully made a wind powered water pump and save his village.
I loved this story because it teaches that a creative mind can solve a big problems as the boy creative mind help the village.
This movie is underrated because this movie released very quietly on Netflix, however if big promotions was done then this movie could be very popular.
This movie is about the one of the famous salesbook **The Secret By Rhonda Byrne. This movie tells about the Miranda Wells who is a hardworking single parent of three childs.Life is very hard for them because they have very less money, and their house is also broken and is very difficult for her to manage his child's.Fortunately a mysterious type of a man Bray come to his home doors which help her to fix the broken house of a single parent lady.After completing the work Bray give some meaningful thoughts and messages which completely changed their life.And then her life slowly shift to positive life.
I like this movie because it teaches us, A simple act can change the complete life of someone.This movie shows that how positive thoughts and hope can change everything.
Actually this movie is very underrated because it was released at the time of a pandemic like Corona Virus and that's why this movie was not much popular.The studio also didnot do any kind of pronotions and also it was uploaded during tough time.
- This movie is about a girl Tony who is 11 years old.She spends alot of time in Boxing with her older brother.She wants to join the dancing group because in her society all other girls do dancing so that's why she also want to learn dancing.She tries to leave boxing and start joining dancing but suddenly something strange happened to the dancing girls.Actualy one by one all the dancing girls suffered and having mysterious seizure called Fits.And ni one their knows that's what is this happening.
I like this movie because it shows the real emotions of teenagers, like teenager have something but wants some other thing.Their mind switches very fastly.I also like that how loyal she is to her self and try to fit her self.
This movie is underrated because the movie stricture is untraditional and is very unusual.This movie is slow, and also it has a lot of on moods and not on dialoges or actions.
Their are alot of reasons due to which movies became unknown.Some of the reasons are.When a movie is released then it needs a strong marketing, budget to make it Block buster movie.So the local industries have very less budget which simply means very low marketing and advertising.Thats why many of the movies become underrated.Some movies are made for some specific mind, thought of people, so many of the people who watches these kind of movies did not understand the concept of the movie so thats why the movie became very underrated.In the era of Blockbuster movies and high level marketing, these kind of movies which are less marketed remains underrated.
Sometimes the initial part of the movie are very boring and then the audience misunderstands and feels like this movie is boring which lead them to poor reviews, however the movie is very interesting.Some movies also get underrated because they are not according to the time, just like an Ertugrul Series like it was uploaded in the 2015 but that time it was flopped fortunately after few years in 2019 this series become world most watched series.Sometimes the movies not match our expectations thats why many of the people did not watch the movie and quit it.Some people watches movies just for fun however the movie consists and having deep meaning and escaped from the reality of the movie.
- If we want to help underrated movies shine then we should post the moral story of the movie in social media platforms like Facebook or Instagram.We shall give a thoughful and real reviews of movies which we watched but was underrated in Netflix, IMDb and some other sites etc.If we watch a movie in Youtube then we can give a review to it in the comment section of it.We can also highlight a meaningful and underrated movie in the film community in Social media like their are alot of groups and pages in Facebook and Instagram etc and their we can post or review about this movie.We can watch these underrated movies in Nightshows and party etc with friends so that it would gain a little bit of popularity which can be spread by them to others.Teachers should encourage students to watch those movies like which are educational.We should organize alot of contests related to Movie Snapshots like this one so that it would help alot in popularity of the underrateed movie.To shine the underrated movies we shall book the cinemas for this underrated movies and we should adopt the free package for this movie for the first 1 thousand people, this is very unique marketing strategy and thus from this method we can catch alot of crowd to watch the movie.This are some of the ways which makes a underrated movie rise and shine.
