Jasminum auriculatum, commonly known as "Juhi" in India, is a highly fragrant flowering plant celebrated for its intoxicating aroma and delicate beauty. A member of the Oleaceae family, this evergreen shrub is widely cultivated across tropical and subtropical regions, particularly in South Asia. Its timeless charm has made it a favorite in gardens, religious ceremonies, and traditional medicine.Jasminum auriculatum is a compact, ornamental plant that grows as a small shrub or a modest climber. Its glossy, dark green leaves are ovate and slightly leathery. The name "auriculatum" (meaning "ear-shaped") comes from the distinctive shape of the leaf base, which resembles an earlobe.The real star of the show is the flower a small, white bloom with an incredibly sweet and strong fragrance. Clusters of these flowers bloom profusely, especially during the warm months, filling the air with their scent, particularly in the evening and night.
