Ashlee picks David Bowie song Heroes for DailyJam. Released September 23rd 1977 on the album with same title. For Bonus Jam it’s a song Ashlee thought was 1977 but it’s actually 1978. The Police tune So Lonely from the album Outlandos D'Amour Released November 17th 1978 and was the bands first full length record.
Gene goes with Iggy Pop for DailyJam and his 1977 song Lust For Life, actually since Ashlee picked David Bowie from same year, I will pick The Passenger! Because it features Vocals from David Bowie singing the La La La La La LaLaLa La parts. Talk about connecting the separate songs! David Bowie also produced the 1977 album Lust For Life which includes the song. For Bonus Jam it’s another 1977 released song, let’s go with The Clash and the song I'm so Bored with the U.S.A. which was featured on the first clash album simply self titled “The Clash”
