Hello everyone!
Today I am here with an important update and announcement related #SPUD4STEEM event. I started organizing this event from May 2025 after getting permission from the previous organizer.
I was very excited about this event and I worked very hard while making contacts with the sponsors and I got a handsome amount of prizes with the help of the sponsors as well as with my own contribution.
I was expecting a good response from this event from the community but I got very low number of entries. At first edition I got only 7 entries but still I was happy that it is the start and in the next edition there will be more participants. Unfortunately on the next month's event I got only 4 participants from which only 2 were eligible.
So after seeing and testing it for the two months and getting very low response from the community I have decided to shut it down. If I get a good response and requests from the users then I can re-think about this decision. But currently I am not hosting it for the month of July.
Indeed it was not possible without the worthy sponsors who did their best to support this event. I want to thank all those sponsors.
I want to notify all these delegators about my this decision, I hope they will understand the reason of shutting it down.

in my opinion - this is sad news. Although I understand that there is an objective reason - the presence (or small presence) of applicants. Activity decreases in the summer, so maybe the competition will be revived in the fall. Maybe the conditions should be changed to expand the circle of participants - for example, I did not invite some only because of their great reputation, more than 75.
