Being chronically ill with a family that doesn't get that your needs are different than before you had issues, needing more time for recovering spoons.
I don't have the spoons to go to 5 different places to grocery shop like I used to. I have trouble getting my mom to understand.
Back when my grandma hurt her knee. Not only was I emotionally unable to deal with how picky she is, but I didn't have the spoons to do anything for her.
I wish my folks had a plan in place in case they were unable to do certain things, instead of assuming I'd be up for it
