What a beautiful violin -- and what a very interesting post explaining it all. I hope it lives up to your expectations ... and performs well for you for a whole lotta years.

    It's a great looking violin... but more importantly (for me at least...), it plays really well with me, and sounds great! One week later, I'm still smitten... so I will ask the luthier to tweak a few things, and see how it responds... but I think I'm caught.....
