SLC-S25/W2 | Community World Tour : Festivals & Celebrations

• Today I am going to participate in the SLC contest organised by Dear. @kouba01 Community World Tour Challenge.As you all know that I am Muslims and for Muslims, one of the most big festival is **Eid-Ul-Adha as it is celebrated by the Muslims all around the world.I cant forget the moments and happiness which came from this festival, especially in Pakistan.

• Before proceeding, first I shall tell you all that what is Eid ul Adha ? Basically it means Festival Of Sacrifice.This festival is being celebrated every year in the entire world by Muslims in the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah.So now the question arises that why are we celebrating this Eid, so wait let me explain it to you all.Actually Allah gave order to Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) to slaughter his son Ismail (A.S) as this was Allah's command.SO he has to do it.When Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) told his child (Ismail A.S) about that, then he told to his father Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) that if this the command of Allah then I am ready.So after that Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) was just going to slaughter him, then at that point Allah replace Hazrat Ismail (A.S) with sheep.So for the remembrance of this, All the Muslims around the world celebrate Eid-ul-Adha.

• Their is also some restrictions in this festival.Like we cannot slaughter all the animals. Those animals which we can slaughter are camel, sheep, cow, buffalo and goats.Also when we slaughter it then we does not take the meat of the animal, instead of it we distribute this meat in three parts.One part for our family, 2nd part for our relatives, neighbours and friends etc.And 1 part for poor people.Now you all will thinking that their are some Muslims who does not afford to slaughter animals then what should they do.SO for this situation, Allah commanded that those who cant have that much money, then it is not necessary for them to slaughter animal, but if their is someone who can afford it then he/she must do a Qurbani.

• Now if someone do Qurbani then as a reward Allah Almighty gave him a lot of Sawab for this act.Also by this, we remember the story off Prophet Ibrahim (A.S) which teaches us obedience to Allah.By doing Qurbani a lot of poor and needy people get meat which is an act of kindness as poors cant afford much meat, so on this festival they eat a lot of meat and enjoys.But rather if we don't do Qurbani then we would not get Sawaab and also we will not get the opportunity to help poors by giving meat to them.

• I woke up early in the Morning and then I changed my new cloths.And then put Topi on my head and wear my new Shoes, and then go to the place where Eid prayers are going to held.When I reach their, I first listen to a short sermon and then I offer Eid prayers.After offering prayers we greet with each other happily.

• After prayers, I came to my home and have some sweets.And then I change my cloths.Because now it was time to slaughter our cow, this I wore my old cloths.So after some time we successfully slaughtered our cow and then made 7 equal parts of cow's meat, because in 1 cow their would be only 7 parts.This means that 7 people can buy a cow by contributing.So I every part of meat, it would be further distributed into 3 parts as I mentioned above 1 part for our family, one for our neighbors and relatives and one for poor and needy.

• Then my mother cooks delicious food for us from this special and fresh meat.One other think which I would like to tell you all is that, in Eid-ul-Adha almost in every house meat is cooked in breakfast, lunch and even in dinner.For some days after this Eid only meat is cooked.So on this day, my mother cooked special Beef Karahi and special Beef pulao from this fresh and healthy meat.The taste of this delicious items were also very yummy and I like it very much.

• After that we all cousins go somewhere to enjoy our selves.Like we avoid urban areas in this days, we like to travel to nature type places. So on this special day of Eid-ul-Adha we all went to beautiful nature type areas as you all can see in the image.Their we enjoyed a lot and took some memorable pictures too.Also we already bring some fruits with ourselves, and their we ate the fruits.

• After that we were on the way to our home, but then some of our cousins suggest that their on the way, one of the most famous restaurant is.So we went their and enjoyed special Beef their.We like its delicious beef so after that we also order Chicken Painda too which is one of the most famous and delicious food, almost loved by every Pakistani.In restaurant we also took some memorable pictures too.

• Then at night time, me and my other cousins (Father side cousins) gathered in their house and their we enjoyed alot.As we receive Eidi and enjoyed their Beef Pulao too.We were full but one of my uncle was insisting us a lot to eat it.Haha.Then we all cousins do a lot of gossips and then my mother told that you are all looking very beautiful so that's why we should capture this memorable moment in cell phone.
