Hello my dear Steemians,
This is our first visit to Amsterdam and we were glad that managed to book a room in hotel that is not far away from rail station. It is called “Highlander”, when comparing the prices we found that despite of being minimal difference in pricing of hotels that are in the same area, our rooms were much spacious and also it had a coffee machine and water boiler. Our main goal was to look around and visit some interesting sightseeing places but we also wanted to be able at least to make some tea or coffee and that was amazing.

The bed is located just apposite the window so we had natural light, the size of bed was big, so you could turn without any problems. |We also had tea/ milk/ sugar and everything to prepare teas.

Here you can see our sink with all necessary stuff like soaps, towel and also a good shower cabin with such wide shower head.

Here is the little framed artwork comvined with modern art of sprayers. That is why the first and important stuff was to get some refreshments and out on fresh air.

Una excelente oportunidad de visitar nuevos lugares, conocer y aprender sobre otros pueblos.
Hermosa habitación, la verdad es que se ve muy cómoda, además de ofrecer servicios para cualquier momento del día.
Un gran saludo.

Hey @stef1, what a delightful peek into your Amsterdam adventure! Your hotel choice, the Highlander, looks fantastic - especially scoring a spacious room with tea and coffee facilities! Those little touches can make a big difference when you're exploring a new city. The photos are great, showcasing the natural light and the cool, modern art touches. It's awesome that you prioritized refreshment and fresh air after settling in. Amsterdam is such a vibrant place, I'm excited to hear what sightseeing you got up to. Did you visit any museums or explore the canals? Thanks for sharing your experience; it's making me want to book a trip!
